On August 1, we officially kicked off The Rescue Effect campaign, and we’re teaming up with our friends at Walker’s Shortbread to make this the best year yet! Two-year-old Tootsie is ready to leave the shelter life behind for a home of her own! This brindle girl enjoys meeting people, leaning into pets and has done well with handling while in our care. Adelaide

Adelaide is a lovely lady with a gentle spirit and curious heart. She enjoys taking her time to observe the world around her, happily watching the room before setting off to explore and see what catches her eye. Biryani

This black cat with a playful spirit and a talent for finding joy in life’s simplest moments is sure to steal your heart! Whether Biryani is perched proudly on his favorite chair, sprinting up and down the hallway to show off his impressive speed or curled up in bed for a cozy daytime nap, Biryani's happiest when he's close to his people. Junebug is a gentle little explorer who blossoms with treats and love! This brown-and-white tabby has the sweetest face and calm, gentle spirit to match. Hamhock

Meet Hamhock, the sweetest “ham” you’ll ever meet! This affectionate girl loves spending time with people, and already knows commands like, “sit” and “place.” She loves training and is eager to learn new skills and show off what she knows. Miss Noogie, the foodie! If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and even bigger appetite, look no further than Miss Noogie! She’s a lover of snacks with a gentle, playful personality that will always keep you smiling. Whether Miss Noogie is learning a new trick for a tasty treat, chasing her favorite toy or napping after a day of adventuring, her happy place is right beside her people. Gouda

One of our favorite things about Gouda is how much she loves showing off her prized possessions. Give her a toy and she’ll happily prance around the room with it, making sure everyone gets a good look at her latest treasure. If you aren’t ready to adopt, you can still make a huge difference for animals in need by becoming a foster caregiver!
