Meet Padme, a 4-year-old, 36-pound pup who has mastered the art of finding joy in life's little things! A quiet walk. A patch of grass. A stuffed animal. A piece of cheese. Honestly, that's a pretty great day in her book.

Her favorite activity is taking a walk, but don't expect to set any speed records! Padme believes every leaf, flower and blade of grass deserves a proper investigation, and she's happy to take her time exploring the world one sniff at a time. Her foster family even joked that she never wanted her walks to end!

When she's back inside, Padme transforms into a stuffed animal enthusiast. She loves carrying her toys from room to room, and she especially likes having one nearby when it's time to settle in for a nap. She also has excellent taste in snacks. Peanut butter? No thanks. Salmon? Not impressed. Cheese? Now that's what she's talking about!

Padme can be a little unsure when she encounters something new, but she's wonderfully resilient. During her foster stay, she showed that while unfamiliar household noises or experiences might startle her at first, she recovered quickly and looked to her foster family, and her calm canine foster brother, for reassurance. With patient encouragement and a predictable routine, Padme’s confidence continues to grow.

Padme has done well with calm, easygoing dogs. She may enjoy having a confident canine friend in the home to help show her the ropes.
