Nolan
Meet Nolan, a very handsome and special 4-year-old Labrador Retriever-mix!
Nolan came to us from a suspected cruelty case, but his gentle spirit shines brightly despite the challenges he's faced. Nolan is deaf and visually impaired, with some sight in his left eye, and he still approaches the world with a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm! Though he may startle occasionally, he bounces back quickly without any fuss. Nolan is a sweet boy just waiting to find a loving home where he can share his resilience and goofy personality.
Since arriving at the Cruelty Recovery Center, Nolan has made plenty of canine friends in our playgroups! He loves to explore the yard and engage in playful chase games with his buddies. He adores going for walks outside and is always eager to sniff out new adventures. When he gets excited, he has the goofiest zoomies that will always make you smile! Nolan is a social pup who loves making new friends. He truly thrives on attention an will gently tap you with his paw when he’s looking for some extra love and affection!
Nolan is seeking a patient and kind adopter who is ready to support him as he learns to navigate life with his disabilities. With a bit of time, some training (such as hand signals for deaf dogs) and a steady routine, he is sure to become an amazing family member and companion. Nolan also walks wonderfully on a leash, particularly while using a harness, and his low-to-moderate energy level makes him a relaxed and easygoing boy.
Come meet Nolan and see how much happiness he can bring to your life! Fill out an adoption application to schedule a meet-and-greet!
