Asena was originally found as a stray dog and brought to a county shelter. She was brought to the ASPCA so that we could help get her ready for living in a home. Since then, she has truly blossomed into a loving, affectionate girl who is ready to be someone’s BFF! We’ve seen her confidence grow and know that she’ll be the life of the party for her new family.

Asena’s ideal home would be with people who love to have fun and stay active just as much as she does! She is an energetic young dog, so regular walks and playtime help her to be her best self. She can be a bit nervous when she’s in a new place, so she hopes her adopters can be patient with her as she finds her confidence. We’ve also been helping her get more comfortable on car rides. Adopters should continue to show Asena that cars are great because they will bring her somewhere exciting and fun! She may also do well with a canine roommate in her new home, but she does prefer to be with dogs her own size than with smaller dogs.
