It's officially kitten season, or the height of feline breeding season. During this time of year, shelters nationwide are flooded with vulnerable, newborn kittens. Our Kitten Nursery in New York City, and our Los Angeles Feline Program teams are gearing up for their busiest season of the year alongside shelters across the country. During this time, shelter resources can be stretched thin, and newborn kittens can require round-the-clock care. Thanks to Guardians like you, we are able to save and care for thousands of kittens every single year, helping them to grow strong and eventually thrive in loving homes.
