Art Honors Animals: ASPCA Named Opening Night Beneficiary of Art and Antique Dealers League of America Spring Show NYC

NEW YORK—The ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) today announced that it will be the beneficiary of the opening night preview party for the Art and Antique Dealers League of America (AADLA) Spring Show NYC at the Park Avenue Armory on Wednesday, May 2. Adoptable animals from the ASPCA’s Adoption Center also will be available, hoping to find new families to take them home.

"The ASPCA is honored to be the opening night beneficiary of the AADLA Spring Show NYC for the second year," said Todd Hendricks, senior vice president of development for the ASPCA. "Art and animal enthusiasts are a passionate crowd, and we are extremely grateful for the opportunity to combine both worthy causes at one event.”

The AADLA Spring Show NYC opens with an invitation-only benefit preview for the ASPCA at the Park Avenue Armory, located at Park Avenue and 67th Street, on Wednesday, May 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. The general public is invited from 7 to 9 p.m. Admission is $75 and will benefit the ASPCA. In addition, all gallery participants of the show will donate a portion of their proceeds from the sales of animal-themed works of art to the ASPCA.

The first full day of the show opens to the public on Thursday, May 3. Hours are Thursday to Sunday, May 6 from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; and Monday, May 7 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission is $25 per person; a five-day pass is $40 per person.
