Sweet Kiva Is Looking for a Home of Her Own!

Our friends at CHA Animal Shelter in Columbus, Ohio, have a wonderful dog available for adoption that we’d love to shine a light on — meet Kiva!

Earlier this year, Kiva and 40 other dogs were evacuated from a West Virginia shelter due to historic rainfall and severe flooding in the area. The ASPCA helped facilitate their transport to the Cruelty Recovery Center in Columbus, where these dogs received the care they needed. Kiva has since become ready for adoption at CHA!

This calm, independent lady is 7 years old and 61 pounds. Kiva loves sniff-filled walks where she can explore the area. She also has great leash manners while out and about! She enjoys socializing with other dog friends, but she prefers to coexist with them over rambunctious play. Kiva is the kind of pup who is quiet, gentle and enjoys snoozing on a comfy couch.
