Stop by the Adoption Center and Meet Our Golden Oldies!

In honor of Adopt a Senior Pet Month, the ASPCA Adoption Center in New York City is hosting a special adoption event for adoptable seniors!

On Sunday, November 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., we are hosting “Golden Oldies,” an event where you can meet a senior cat or dog while enjoying some classic oldies music. Those who adopt animals 6 years or older will receive waived adoption fees (typically $150), one week of pet food, toys, treats, a dog leash, cat scratcher and a pet blanket while supplies last.

Sadly, senior pets in shelters are often the last to be adopted, so we are excited to give them the attention they deserve! While older animals may have a few years on their younger counterparts, they can still be loyal, loving companions and may be even more suitable for your lifestyle.

If you are interested in adopting a golden oldie of your own, RSVP for our event here! Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend scheduling a meeting ahead of time to reduce your wait time. We hope to see you there!
