MONOPOLY GO!© Partners with ASPCA to Help Reach More Animals in Need
Between February 4 through March 4, MONOPOLY GO!© invited its global player community to “play with purpose,” combining fun gameplay with meaningful support for animal welfare organizations, including the ASPCA and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA). In February, MONOPOLY GO! launched its first ever Pets Season, transforming the game’s universe into a celebration of furry, feathery and scaly companions. Pets Season challenged players to collectively pass GO more than 5 million times.
In addition to the pet-themed launch, Scopely, the global video game company behind MONOPOLY GO!, made a charitable donation of $300,000 to the ASPCA. By passing GO more than 5 million times during the event, players also unlocked an additional $50,000 donation for the ASPCA, helping to further enable our work in recovery, rehabilitation and enrichment for animals in need nationwide.
Making a Difference Through Play
“At Scopely, everything we do is guided by our mission to inspire play every day,” said Victor Diaz-Roig, President, Games at Scopely, the global video game company behind MONOPOLY GO. “Pets Season reflects how we continue to evolve MONOPOLY GO! as a living game — introducing new innovations, community-driven content like our first sticker set inspired by real player pets and fresh ways to play together. We’re also proud to extend the impact of play beyond the game to support enrichment and recovery for animals in need.”
For animals recovering from neglect, trauma or cruelty, playtime isn’t just fun, it’s imperative. That’s why this partnership feels so special to the ASPCA and the animals we serve. Proceeds unlocked during Pets Season will help support our critical programs and help us reach more animals in 2026.
We are so grateful to MONOPOLY GO! for their generous donation and dedication to improving the lives of animals in need.
