ASPCA Surpasses Summer Goal of 325 Feline Adoptions

This summer, it was all paws on deck when we asked supporters like you to join us in helping our feline friends find the loving homes they deserve.

We kicked off Adopt a Shelter Cat Month in June alongside our friends at ARM & HAMMER Cat Litter, setting a goal of 325 cat and kitten adoptions for the felines in our care. But, since the goal was so important, we extended it through the month of July. On July 30, we officially surpassed our goal and as of July 31 we officially had 333 cats and kittens adopted between our programs in New York City and Los Angeles!

Thanks to the incredible amounts of support we received, hundreds of kitties are thriving in loving homes, but the work isn’t done yet. There are still thousands of animals looking for homes across the country and hundreds of rescue organizations that need your help, especially our friends at Animal Care Centers (ACC) of NYC.
