Catalina has spent some time in a foster home, where she quickly fell in love with her fosters – and the feeling is mutual! Whenever her people arrive home, she always greets them with enthusiastic tail wags. She’s also shown off her smarts whenever they work on training together. Catalina also adores her doggy friends, and she has gotten along swimmingly with her foster’s resident dog.

Catalina was originally found as a stray dog and was nervous about meeting new people. Since spending time in our care, she now really enjoys making new friends, human and canine alike! A great way to help her warm up to someone is by taking a nice walk together – especially with some yummy treats to share! Catalina’s adopters should also continue to work on building up her confidence in busy or noisy areas. She’d especially love to have a fenced-in yard to wander around in, but she would also do well in a home where it’s easy to take on-leash walks. Catalina would definitely enjoy having another doggy sibling who can help show her the ropes around the house! Her closest canine friends have been those who are respectful without too much contact but are still plenty playful.
