Fosters Needed for the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center in North Carolina
...
Thank you for your interest in becoming a foster caregiver for the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center (BRC) in Weaverville, North Carolina! The BRC is dedicated to the study and behavioral rehabilitation of extremely fearful, undersocialized dogs. Foster families play an integral role with this unique population of dogs, providing a temporary, loving home to those who may have never experienced life with a family before.
There are several benefits to fostering dogs in your home. It provides vital information on a dog’s response to life in a home. Sometimes, fosters even find an adopter for their foster dog! Fostering also helps make more room at the BRC for new dogs to begin their own behavioral rehabilitation. We provide all the supplies, veterinary care and support you’ll need, and there is no experience required to become a foster.
