Meet Kitty! This 2-year-old, brown-and-white sweetheart has the cutest petite build and an even sweeter personality. Kitty came to the CRC through a suspected cruelty case and likely hadn’t experienced much of real home life before coming to us. She has been learning and growing more confident every day!

Kitty spent some time in a foster home where she started figuring out all the cozy parts of living in a home. She did great with housetraining, slept soundly in her crate all night and loved when her crate was set up like a comfy little den just for her. She also enjoyed going on walks, playing with toys and curling up for cuddles with her people!

This adorable girl loves meeting new friends and happily soaks up pets and attention. Kitty is a curious little explorer who likes to sniff around and check everything out. Belly rubs are always welcome, and she gets especially silly when she starts tossing her toys around during playtime.

Kitty is a bit of a pro in our doggy playgroup! She has joined many playgroups and has been such a great helper for other dogs, especially puppies or shy pups who need a friendly buddy. She loves playing with other dogs and enjoys a good romp and wrestle with her canine friends!

When Kitty first went into foster care, some new things in the world felt a little scary. With the help of a patient and loving foster, she slowly started gaining confidence and learning that new things can be okay. Because of that, Kitty would love a calm and patient family who will keep cheering her on and helping her feel brave as she continues to grow!

Kitty’s perfect home would include a backyard to explore and a friendly dog buddy to keep her company and show her the ropes. She’s a sweet, gentle girl who already knows tricks like hand targeting, takes treats very politely and loves being near people.
