Ahoy! Meet Hoodwink, a little pirate with a huge personality and a heart of gold.

At just 5 months old and 34 pounds, Hoodwink is a typical Husky puppy through and through: curious, adventurous, playful and always ready to make new friends. In fact, he's never met a stranger! Whether you're a longtime pal or someone he's just met, there's a good chance he'll greet you by flopping into your lap, rolling over for belly rubs or charming you into giving him a few extra pets.

Hoodwink loves being part of the action and enjoys spending time with his people, playing with toys and soaking up attention. He's a confident little guy with plenty of puppy enthusiasm, especially when there's something exciting going on around him. After a day of adventures, he's equally happy to settle into a cozy bed with a favorite chew toy and relax.

When it comes to other dogs, Hoodwink is a rough-and-tumble playmate who loves to chase, wrestle and romp with canine friends. He would likely enjoy having a dog sibling who can match his playful energy and outgoing personality. In our play yards, some of his favorite activities include chasing toys and splashing in the pool, making him the perfect first mate for all your summer adventures.

Hoodwink enjoys getting out and exploring the world. He walks nicely on leash with his harness and loves stopping to investigate all the treasures along the way — from interesting sticks to mysterious rocks and every good sniff in between. He's a smart little pup who already knows "sit" and "down," and he enjoys learning new things. One of his cutest habits is offering an automatic sit whenever he spots a person or dog he'd like to greet.

Earlier in life, Hoodwink underwent surgery to correct a heart condition, and he has bounced back beautifully. Today, he's a happy, active puppy who is ready to leave that chapter behind and set sail toward his future home.

Like any young puppy, Hoodwink is still learning the ropes. He spent time in a foster home working on housetraining and thrives with positive reinforcement, praise and patient guidance as he continues to grow.
