Earth

Meet Earth, a Husky-mix girl who is ready to find a home of her own! She came to us through a suspected cruelty case and spent the last few months devoted to raising her puppy, who has since been adopted. Now, “Momma Earth” is ready for the next step in her journey!

Earth is currently thriving in a foster home with a canine sibling and is absolutely loving life. In just a short time, she's shown her foster family what a wonderful companion she can be. She's now fully housetrained and has happily taken on the role of the household alarm clock, making sure her foster knows exactly when it's time for a potty break.

With people she knows and trusts, Earth is affectionate, playful and full of personality! She loves leaning into pets, bouncing around when she’s excited and rubbing against her favorite people like a cat — sometimes even sneaking in a kiss or two. Her foster describes her in three words: “energetic, sweetie and shadow.” Once Earth bonds with her people, she wants to always be as close as possible and would happily spend her day curled up in your lap if you'd let her.

With new people, Earth can be a little unsure at first, but toys and tasty snacks are usually the quickest way to win her over! When given a little time and patience, she blossoms into a fun, silly companion who is happy to be part of the action. She would do best in a home that will give her the space she needs to adjust and learn all about the good life.

Earth loves being active and could walk all day long. She especially enjoys walks with her foster brother and has been a wonderful walking companion. She's also proven to be great in the car, making her an excellent candidate for adventures near and far.

Around other dogs, Earth prefers gentle play and games of chase. She absolutely adores playing with her foster canine brother and often feels more confident when she has a dog friend by her side. With her best pals, she'll break into playful zoomies and show off her speedy Husky moves. A friendly resident dog could be a great match for her.

Earth has also embraced home life. She is crate trained and does well when left alone, especially when her crate is set up right next to her foster brother's crate. She enjoys stretching out in the grass, exploring the yard and soaking up all the simple comforts of being part of a family.

One thing Earth is especially passionate about is water! She loves playing in the hose and even hopping into a pool for a splash around, making her the perfect companion for summertime fun.

Earth has also met young children while in foster care and did wonderfully. She was calm, gentle and happy to accept pets and kisses from her tiny admirers.
