Rio

Rio has plenty of paw-sonality and adorableness! With ice-blue eyes and playful spirit, she turns heads everywhere she goes, and she has the charm to match.
Rio came to the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center as a fearful stray, unsure of the world. But with time, patience and dog friends by her side, she has blossomed into a social, affectionate and adventure-ready companion. Rio will even gently paw at you when she wants more pets. She has polite sass and knows how to ask for love!
Rio has a great mix of playful energy and cuddle-ready calm, perfect for someone who wants a dog to explore with and relax beside. She can be a little shy with new people, but with patience, she warms up quickly — especially when taken on a walk or allowed to romp with a dog buddy.
Rio has the looks, the love and the loyalty. Now she is ready to find her person and start the good life. If you are interested in learning more about her, press the “Submit an Adoption Inquiry” button below!
