Meet Archie, a toy-loving cat who has come a long way since we first met him!

When Archie arrived, he was an understandably nervous boy, but he has made great strides with us. His love for toys and playtime has helped him build wonderful relationships with both people and other cats. While he has been in our care, Archie has been living with friendly, social cats, which also played a key role in boosting his confidence and sociability.

Archie does well with slow introductions to new people, and with some time and patience, he bonds happily with new friends. He also loves tasty treats, so he can be motivated by food at times, which helps with training and socialization. He has shown off his affectionate side with us through consent-based petting, which allows him to decide when he’s ready for contact by approaching for head bunts or rubs. Since settling in, Archie now seeks out attention, often rubbing against people’s legs or against the door when he sees familiar faces approaching!
