Meet Viktor! He has earned the playful nickname "Uncle Vik" thanks to his fun-loving, friendly and supportive demeanor.

Viktor came into our care after the Hurricane Helene disaster, and since then, he’s been thriving on  the care and attention of his people. His social skills are top-notch, as he loves seeing his friends and enjoys being around both new and familiar faces. He’s a big boy, but he still loves to curl up in laps and snuggle — he is a truly affectionate pup! Viktor is also quite smart, and he knows commands like sit, down and shake.

Viktor is an active, playful dog who is a star player in our doggy playgroups! He is known for his energetic, enthusiastic and rough-and-rowdy playstyle. Thanks to his tolerant and gentle nature during play, he has even served as a “helper dog” with young puppies, where he helps them gain confidence in their new environment.

Adopters should know that although Viktor has shown some mild intermittent lameness in his front legs, he is receiving the medical attention he needs and is recovering well. Our team will share more about his medical history with you when you apply.
