Meet Tawanda, a petite pittie who is full of love!

Despite Tawanda’s smaller stature, she has a big heart and enjoys curling up for pets and snuggles whenever she gets the chance. This smart girl already knows the “sit” command and is highly motivated by tasty treats, making training sessions a fun and rewarding experience for her. Tawanda has also flourished in our doggy playgroups! She has even stepped up as a “helper dog,” helping shy dogs open up and socialize with her, all thanks to her gentle and playful nature.

Tawanda came to us after the Hurricane Helene disaster, and she has shown us her incredible resilience. She was treated for ocular discharge and conjunctivitis in her lower eyelids, and she  has since made a full recovery. Tawanda no longer needs treatment for these conditions and is in great health. She has thrived in our care and is ready to find a loving home!
