Meet the marvelous Mary Sue! This gorgeous girl came to us from a suspected hoarding situation, and she is now ready for a place to call home. Her silly antics and fluffy tail will be sure to capture your heart! Mary Sue’s ideal adopter is someone who appreciates the outdoors and has an adventurous free spirit, just like she does. She also enjoys playing and socializing with dogs of all sizes and would love the chance to have canine siblings of her own!

Big fan of: Walks in the woods! Taking her time to smell the roses and watch the world go by! Playing with other dogs! Mary Sue has thrived in her foster home. In her time there, she has been housetrained, settles nicely in a crate, walks with a loose leash and rests near people on the couch. She has also lived peacefully with dogs, a cat and a rabbit.

Working on: Settling down in a home environment. She is most relaxed when outdoors, but she is getting more and more comfortable while indoors each day. She is still a young dog, so will sometimes pick up non-dog items in the home. In her foster home, she has done well with crate training and she chews on appropriate items when offered.

Dream home: One with people who enjoy leisurely walks every day and exploring the great outdoors on weekends! Mary Sue would love to find a patient family who is looking for an independent, spirited pup and would allow her to make her own choices. Another playful canine friend or two in the home would be a bonus!
