Dahlia

Dahlia is ready to sniff out her next adventure!
Dahlia came to the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center from a local case, arriving as a very fearful dog. Now a proud graduate, she’s thriving in her foster home and showing what a wonderful companion she can be. She loves her outdoor time, whether it’s exploring the yard or enjoying a walk full of sniffs. Afterwards, she’s just as happy to curl up for a cozy cuddle and settle in for the evening.
Dahlia’s foster family says she is a joy with other dogs. She loves having friends and knows how to keep playtime fun for everyone! She bounces around with energetic pups, is gentle with smaller dogs and calmly checks in on their senior dog, who is recovering from surgery. When the excitement winds down, she’s content to relax and enjoy some quiet time before the next round of fun.
Meeting new people can be a lot for Dahlia at first, but she warms up quickly with treats and a few neck scratches (her favorite!). Once she feels comfortable, she leans in for attention, gives soft kisses and melts under your hands with her silky fur. She’s curious about the world, loves a good window perch and is always excited for outdoor adventures.
Dahlia is looking for a family who enjoys both playtime and snuggle time. If you’re ready for a loyal, affectionate companion who is equal parts explorer and couch buddy, Dahlia might be your perfect match! Click “Submit an Adoption Inquiry” below to learn more about her!
